I have a teaching degree and have worked as a primary and early years teacher for 13 years.I have always had a keen interest in outdoor learning and spent many wonderful mornings at forest schools with my girls. This inspired me to complete Forest School training. I love music, nature, seasons, woodlands, being outdoors, walks in the countryside, the beach and camping with my girls.

(Pre-school Practitioner)

Hi, I'm Kaliegh and I have been involved with the preschool since 2021 as a parent and committee chair.

I enjoyed the atmosphere here and loved the care the my children recieved so much so I decided to join the team!

I have previously worked in private nursery settings and as a nanny. I'd like to help continue offering a caring and nurturing environment for the children to thrive in here at Medstead.

Emily

(Pre-school Practitioner)

Hi, I'm Emily.

I worked in child care for many years, then went into adult care for a few years. I have now decided to return to child care as I was re-inspired by my daughter. Watching her grow and develop whilst being supported by a fantastic team has given me the fire to do the same for others.

Hello I'm Zoe...

I have worked in childcare for a long time. Early years is a passion of mine and having recently worked as an LSA in a reception class supporting children in their transition to school is a keen area of interest.

I have a degree in Education Studies in the Early Years.

I am also mum to a lovely little girl and am in awe of her as she grows and develops.

May

(Pre-school Practitioner)

Hi, I'm May
I did work experience here at preschool early in my career and loved it so much I came back!

I have worked previously in different nurseries and even nannied, so I have lots of experience with children.

I love being outside, especially in the rain, allowing children to be independent, as well as lots of messy play. I also love to focus on children's mental health, showing them how important it is to look after themselves as well as others.
